At Saab AB, we're seeking a skilled professional to lead the planning, development, and delivery of international exhibitions and global events. As our ideal candidate, you'll be responsible for ensuring these events are completed on time, within schedule, and in accordance with company policies.

Your Role

The role involves gathering insights from various Business Areas and functions, coordinating a diverse team of colleagues from across the globe, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers from different countries and cultures. You will manage budgets, allocate resources, evaluate external services, and provide support by participating in technical meetings, conducting briefings, and resolving complex issues where necessary.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be flexible, innovative, and results-focused, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Continuing to develop the Saab presence at global events, with a main focus on Europe
  2. Planning, executing, and managing Saab's participation in global events and exhibitions, including expense tracking, event timelines, management of external suppliers, logistics, booth production, and more
  3. Ensuring events stay within schedule and are executed efficiently
  4. Implementing the brand platform
  5. Managing graphic production and ordering of event and marketing materials
  6. Reaching out to potential stakeholders and partners
  7. Advertising events through multiple channels
  8. On-site management of stand build and execution
  9. Providing year-over-year analytical reports on events and KPIs, using these insights to optimize event tactics and strategy
  10. Governing and developing Saab's event management processes, including tools and guidelines
  11. Providing support to colleagues, ensuring all aspects of events are carried out successfully and smoothly
