Job Overview:

Vanderbilt Health seeks a highly skilled Clinical Speech Pathologist to join our team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric dysphagia and swallow studies (VFSS/MBSS) to analyze comprehensive information from formal and informal assessments to determine rehabilitation treatment diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborating with stakeholders to establish plans of care, coordinate, and implement care delivery while anticipating patient needs across the rehabilitation continuum.
  2. Applying evidence-based interventions to ensure effective outcomes and re-evaluating performance to assess patient progress towards goals.
  3. Employing strategies to promote successful return to home, community, and school/vocational environments.
  4. Supervising graduate students by providing instruction, guidance/counsel, and training to ensure provision of competent patient care and completion of appropriate documentation.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Speech Pathology and be licensed as a Speech Pathologist in Tennessee.
