Role Summary:

Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt seeks a skilled Speech Therapist to provide expert care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric dysphagia and swallow studies (VFSS/MBSS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to establish plans of care, coordinate, and implement care delivery while anticipating patient needs across the rehabilitation continuum.
  • Applying evidence-based interventions to ensure effective outcomes and re-evaluating performance to assess patient progress towards goals.
  • Employing strategies to promote successful return to home, community, and school/vocational environments.
  • Supervising graduate students by providing instruction, guidance/counsel, and training to ensure provision of competent patient care and completion of appropriate documentation.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Speech Pathology and be licensed as a Speech Pathologist in Tennessee.
