We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our Finance team in Stockholm. As a result of our recent strategic review, our Industrial business will undergo significant changes. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of our organization.

About the Role

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and contributing to financial planning and system improvement projects.

About the Team

As we embark on this transformation, our finance team is also evolving. You will work closely with our Finance Manager and Business Controller, supporting the growth of the new organization.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing and analyzing asset, liability, and capital account entries, as well as balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting the month-end closing process and ensuring adherence to all relevant procedures and controls
  • Preparation of financial statements for statutory and investor reporting
  • Review of financials to validate transactions and resolve discrepancies
  • Implementation and maintenance of accounting controls, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with IFRS, K3, and relevant legislation
  • Addressing accounting procedure questions and providing technical support to the finance organization
  • Management of the audit process and liaison with external auditors as necessary
  • Collaboration with the business controller and wider organization to ensure proper implementation of accounting policies, improve systems, and manage ERP processes related to costs and inventory

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Hold minimum 3 years' experience in accounting, financial control or similar
  • Possess degree in accounting, business or similar
  • Be in possession of professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CPA) or similar

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with good knowledge of Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Effective communication skills in English, Swedish is a plus

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to work independently and drive issues to conclusion with a sense of ownership
  • Highly accurate and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
  • Fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French)
  • Experience from a multi-cultural environment
