About the Role

IKEA Supply Services (Sweden) AB is seeking a skilled Delivery Planner to join our Category Food Logistics Services team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Goods Flow Coordination: Plan, monitor, and secure the goods flow through different distribution centers, ensuring timely delivery and optimal utilization of resources.
  2. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational deviations, optimize filling rates, and improve equipment utilization.
  3. Shipping Monitoring: Monitor shipments and take necessary action to address any deviations, ensuring availability for our customers.
  4. Process Improvement: Suggest potential improvements for delivery planning and execution, aligning with our Global Working Methods.
  5. Supply Chain Investigation: Support investigations into claim issues within the supply chain.

Requirements

  1. Education and Experience: A relevant education in supply chain management, engineering, economics, or a related field, combined with a few years of experience in logistics, food, manufacturing, or equivalent industries.
  2. Logistics Expertise: Extensive knowledge of logistics capabilities, order planning, and capacity planning, with the ability to prioritize orders to meet customer needs at the lowest possible landed cost.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: The ability to engage stakeholders to co-create, collaborate, and deliver results.
  4. Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset and solution-oriented approach to addressing operational challenges.
  5. Communication: Fluency in oral and written English.
