About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Planner to join our Supply Chain team at IKEA Industry Älmhult AB. As a Master Planner, you will play a critical role in driving the effectiveness and efficiency of our material and production planning process.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze and Improve Production Planning: Analyze the need and capacity situation, initiate changes to assure efficient production, and develop strategies to optimize production planning.
  2. Set Production Objectives: Collaborate with production and supply chain colleagues to set production mix and objectives on volume.
  3. Develop and Maintain Master Plans: Create and keep the master plan updated, ensuring accurate and timely production planning.
  4. Manage Production Planning Data: Set up and maintain planning data, article, prices, and production structures, and supply relevant information to stakeholders.
  5. Forecast and Order Raw Materials: Forecast and place orders with suppliers, and maintain purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
  6. Manage Phase-In and Phase-Out of Direct Materials and Finished Goods: Manage the introduction and removal of direct materials and finished goods articles, ensuring seamless production planning.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Master Planner with a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and production planning. You should have a higher education in supply/logistics and experience working in business systems and Excel.

You should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a structured and methodical way. You should also be driven by a passion for continuous improvement and have a holistic view of the business.
