Technology Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technology Operations Specialist to join our team at Hitachi Energy. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacturing Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineers, production staff, and other teams to develop and implement plans that enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Knowledge Management: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in manufacturing and technology operations and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Create production schedules and plans to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Meeting and Communication: Organize meetings with relevant stakeholders to discuss production issues and progress.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously analyze and improve production processes to achieve high-quality outputs.
  • Test System Maintenance and Support: Be responsible for the maintenance and support of test systems at our electronic suppliers, including systems owned by Hitachi Energy HVDC.
  • Resource Procurement: Source and procure necessary materials and equipment for production.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering or Related Field: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Documentation and Reporting: Experience with creating and maintaining technical documentation and reports.
  • Office Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
  • Production Experience: Proven experience in production environments.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to make sound judgments.
  • Communication and Leadership: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Decision Making and Time Management: Ability to make timely decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and organizational skills.
