We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to join our Portfolio Brands unit at H&M Group. As a Lead Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing our organization's capabilities by providing technical leadership and guidance to the development team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and collaborate with the implementation team to ensure effective handoff and streamline the transition from design to project.
  • Provide technical guidance and ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.
  • Understand and visualize concepts, identify patterns, and use problem-solving skills to find solutions and win support for ideas.
  • Take the initiative to identify and address existing and potential obstacles, issues, and opportunities.
  • Create high-level and low-level design documentation and technical specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of software development experience.
  • Experience in working with solution architecture and backend development.
  • Hands-on development experience in JavaScript based frameworks, including TypeScript, React.
  • Experience with Microservices architecture on Cloud, API implementation, and API design principles.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Experience on CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge on sourcing tools (git) and project tracking software like Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Engineering expertise on performance and integration best practices.

  • Experience of working on e-commerce domain.
