About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EHS Engineer to join our team at LM Wind Power / GE. As an EHS Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective EHS management systems and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential EHS risks and hazards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement EHS training programs and ensure employee awareness and understanding of EHS policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and report on EHS incidents and near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders to stay informed of changing EHS regulations and best practices.
  • Provide EHS support and guidance to employees, management, and external stakeholders to ensure a culture of EHS excellence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices, including OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve EHS goals and objectives.
