Job Overview

The Cloud Operations Architect, EMEA role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a unique opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing organizations in the cloud industry. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping customers of all industries and sizes gain the best value and service from AWS.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive customer adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and more.
  • Provide technical guidance and advocacy to help plan and build solutions using best practices.
  • Maintain operational health of AWS environments while reducing cost and complexity.
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
Key Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with experience in similar roles such as Technical Account Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, Platform Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Cloud Architect. Strong technical acumen and customer-facing skills are essential. Ability to juggle tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment is also required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional experience with AWS and/or other cloud offerings such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform etc.
  • Programming or scripting skills with a combination of Java, Python Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP.
  • Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, Solution Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.
