About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pantograph System Specialist to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the technical development and implementation of pantograph systems for our trains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and specify pantograph system solutions for our customers, including mechanical, electrical, and functional interfaces.
  • Work closely with suppliers to select and manage the development of pantograph components.
  • Lead technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders to ensure pantograph system performance and compliance.
  • Manage the requirement and verification process for pantograph systems, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the development of high-voltage systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
  • Experience in the high-voltage area, preferably with component-level knowledge.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working with suppliers.
  • Knowledge of the rail industry and powertrain systems is an advantage.
  • Fluent English and intermediate Swedish language skills.
