As a PhD student, your primary responsibility is to pursue doctoral studies in relation to a specific research aim. This includes:
- Completing a number of doctoral courses
- Reviewing literature
- Conducting research studies
- Interacting with industrial companies
You will take an active role in the research project, preparing for and collecting empirical data, conducting analysis, and presenting results. Results will be continuously presented at seminars and international conferences.
Qualifications
To be eligible, you should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Industrial Management and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or Economics, with an interest in urban freight transport and logistics.
The applicant is expected to conduct empirical research as the primary activity, applying quantitative research approaches. Results of research should be disseminated through interactions with professionals and publications in highly-ranked journals within the subject area.
