Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse - Operating Room
Department: Operating Room
The Peri-operative certified RPN will possess the theoretical knowledge and technical skills required to work in the peri-operative setting. The Operating Room program is dedicated to providing safe client care utilizing an effective and efficient team approach.
Key Responsibilities:- The ability to rotate through all services within the Operating Room.
- Must be able to work all shifts, weekends plus on call Mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize the Nursing process while performing detailed and highly technical procedures.
- A commitment to providing high quality, individualized patient care.
- An ability to make intelligent, independent decisions and initiate appropriate action based on patient-focused best practice guidelines.
- Satisfactory work performance and attendance record required.
- The successful candidate will have a proven commitment to professional development as well as to the Mission and Vision of the Hospital.
