As a Demand Planner/S&OP, you'll play a crucial role in managing commercial planning processes, ensuring accurate demand forecasting, and aligning operational planning.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, mathematics, or data science related field and at least 5 years of experience in a planning-related role within the manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of Demand Forecasting and S&OP processes is required. Fluency in English and excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial planning process to ensure efficiency, timeliness, and alignment with operational planning.
- Maintain and update the statistical forecasting process to support an accurate unconstrained sales forecast.
- Train and support account managers in forecasting unconstrained customer demand.
- Collaborate with the production planning team in S&OP balancing to align commercial strategies with short- and long-term capacity constraints.
- Monitor and manage performance indicators for the commercial planning process and provide feedback for improvement.
- Develop and enhance demand forecasting processes in collaboration with the digital team.
