About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our IT team, focusing on our data platform. As a Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various teams across the organization, using your expertise to develop, optimize, and maintain data systems that ensure smooth integration and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable data solutions using data modeling, relational databases, and ETL processes.
  • Optimize data pipelines and related components like Python Notebooks and stored procedures.
  • Create standardized frameworks and processes for data ingestion.
  • Collaborate with front-end teams to make data easily accessible and usable in Power BI.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Azure services, including ADLS, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.
  • Hands-on experience working with Apache Spark.
  • Experience integrating third-party systems via APIs into BI solutions.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and version control tools such as Git.
