ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Data Engineer who is excited about joining a collaborative and supportive team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various teams across the organization, using your skills to develop, optimize, and maintain data systems that ensure smooth integration and accessibility. Your work will play a crucial role in driving innovation and enhancing our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Engineering

  • Apply your knowledge of data modeling, relational databases, and ETL processes to design scalable solutions.
  • Optimize data pipelines and related components like Python Notebooks and stored procedures.
  • Create standardized frameworks and processes for data ingestion.
  • Collaborate with front-end teams to make data easily accessible and usable in Power BI.

CI/CD

  • Leverage your understanding of deployment processes to manage efficient transitions between environments (e.g., Medallion architecture).
  • Build and maintain deployment pipelines that support the development process.
  • Ensure version control of both code and ETL components for smooth, ongoing development.
ABOUT YOU

You are a talented and detail-oriented Data Engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment. You are passionate about creating effective data solutions and enjoy working closely with others to achieve shared goals. Your proactive and problem-solving mindset helps you contribute to team success and grow both personally and professionally. You have experience with data integration, transformation, storage and T-SQL.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Azure services, including ADLS, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.
  • Hands-on experience working with Apache Spark.
  • Experience integrating third-party systems via APIs into BI solutions.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and version control tools such as Git.

Meritorious:

  • Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture and how it supports broader business processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power Apps

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and ways of working.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create clear and structured documentation.
  • Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills, thriving in an Agile development environment.
