As an Information Security Specialist, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our information assets and driving IT security excellence.

About the Role:
As our Information Security Specialist, you will work closely with the Information Security Manager to protect data, software, and hardware while ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations. Your expertise will contribute to building robust systems, improving processes, and enhancing organizational security awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management: Analyze systems for security improvements from a regulatory requirements aspect. Develop processes and methods to support these activities.
- Audit Management: Coordinate IT audits and evaluate IT supplier security and compliance. Manage the supplier assessment process.
- Training & Awareness: Oversee information security nano-learning initiatives and track progress.
- Incident Management: Take on the role of incident manager when required and follow up on security incidents.
- Customer Assessment: Respond to customer inquiries about information security and compliance. Improve the process for customer inquiries.
- System Validation: Drive validation process and methodologies to ensure compliance in a medical device context.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in information security, risk management, IT security, IT audit, and IT compliance.
- Strong technical knowledge and IT background.
- Knowledge about regulations and standards such as ISO27001, NIS2, GDPR, Cybersecurity Resilience Act, Data privacy regulations, and Medical Device Directive.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
- Self-driven, structured, and able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Certifications in information security are a bonus, but a willingness to learn and grow is more important.

Working Arrangements:
This position is based in Gothenburg and offers a hybrid work model with one workday from home per week.
