At Scandinavian Airlines System, we are committed to security by design and privacy by design, empowering our teams to proactively manage risk and cybersecurity. The IT Risk and Compliance Manager will work on governance, risk & compliance to ensure cyber security and data protection across SAS operations. In this role, you will be responsible for IT risk management including vendor risk management, data privacy policies and standards, governing risk management and data privacy processes, and ensuring compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Digital and IT teams to enable hands-on risk management and cybersecurity practices.
  2. Develop and enhance cyber and data security policies, control objectives, controls, risk management processes, and standards aligned with information security regulations, best practices, and frameworks.
  3. Oversight and drive cyber risk management processes, including cybersecurity controls follow-up and vendor risk management across SAS.
  4. Align key stakeholders on cybersecurity policies, data privacy, guide and enable cybersecurity and data privacy practices across the organization.
  5. Assist with internal and 3rd party audits and address associated findings, such as EASA, IOSA, and PCI-DSS.
  6. Own, develop, and administer the IT risk and privacy management system OneTrust.

To be Successful:

  1. A degree in Information Security, Privacy Management, Information Systems, or Computer Science is preferred, or commensurate relevant work experience.
  2. Minimum of 5 years' experience with focus on regulatory compliance and involvement in either data privacy management or cybersecurity management.
  3. In-depth knowledge and understanding of global privacy legislation, such as GDPR.
  4. Knowledge and experience of cybersecurity standards, with NIST Cyber Security Framework being an advantage.
  5. Experience in translating privacy and/or security regulations into workable and implementable policies and processes.
  6. Experience in implementing enterprise IT risk and privacy management systems, with OneTrust experience being an advantage.
  7. Fluency in English, Swedish, or other Nordic languages is considered an advantage.
  8. Experience from aviation, e-commerce, and/or large enterprises is seen as an advantage.
  9. Experience from working in a developer-intense organization close to development teams is seen as an advantage.
