Senior Legal Counsel

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our global Legal & Integrity team, you will play a critical role in providing strategic legal counsel and upholding the highest standards of integrity within our organization.

• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards, and identify and mitigate potential legal risks.
• Contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts, draft commercial agreements, and oversee contract management in collaboration with relevant business stakeholders and Legal & Integrity team members.
• Legal Advice and Guidance: Provide legal and integrity-related advice to ABB management, acting as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.
• Intellectual Property Management: Oversee Intellectual Property (IP) matters, working with stakeholders from the IP function to manage these issues effectively.
• Business Partnership: Foster a culture of integrity across the organization, and work in close collaboration with the existing counsel for Process Automation Sweden.

• Education and Experience: Swedish law degree with 2-5 years of legal experience, preferably in a well-recognized law firm or as in-house counsel at a multinational company.
• Cross-Border Experience: Proven ability to provide cross-border legal support, with experience working in multiple jurisdictions.
• Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with a solutions-oriented mindset and a collaborative attitude.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English and Swedish, coupled with strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
