About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Services team. As a DevOps Engineer for Private Cloud, you will play a pivotal role in creating a great user experience for our employees. You will work with a team of skilled engineers to move our current environment to a hybrid cloud environment that can adapt to the quickly changing landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to enable the technical vision and guiding principles that align with our on-premises infrastructure.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of continuous learning and self-service solutions.
  • Ensure seamless user experience and support extensive automation efforts to improve efficiency.
  • Utilize a data-driven approach to measure the quality and usage of services, identify areas for improvement, and drive adoption within the organization for on-premises resources.
  • Perform various technical tasks such as monitoring, virtualization, optimizing on-premises solutions and hardware, scripting, manage IaC, and ensure best practice according to security and hybrid cloud environment.
Requirements
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer with on-premises virtualization and hardware.
  • Solid experience of automation to enable other teams to work independently.
  • Experience in technologies like databases (Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres SQL), infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep), scripting languages (Bash, Python, Powershell), virtualization solutions (VMWare, Nutanix, Proxmox), storage solutions (Unity, PowerStore), backup solutions (Veeam, Rubrik or similar), monitoring (Zabbix, Prometheus, Datadog), and Azure Arc.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and ability to work with a team towards the right level.
  • Great collaboration skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
