Medieval Fragment Analyst

The Swedish National Archives is seeking a Medieval Fragment Analyst to join our team in Stockholm. As a key member of our AI-lab and Data Services unit, you will work on conceptual and data modeling, identifying and evaluating APIs, vocabularies, schemas, and formats for data exchange between different fragment databases.

In this position, you will participate in the design and development of a virtual library for reconstructed manuscripts, create improved versions of the National Archives' own fragment database, and publish fragment data on external platforms like Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, and Fragmentarium.

As a Medieval Fragment Analyst, you will collaborate with researchers and developers, working on a daily basis with CODICUM's constituent partners. This project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to open science, open data, and open source initiatives, while gaining valuable experience working in a small cross-disciplinary and agile team.

We encourage applications from individuals with a strong background in computer science, systems science, or equivalent acquired skills, and a passion for digital humanities. This is a temporary position up to four years, specifically designed for the CODICUM-project.
