About the Role

We are seeking a driven and creative Design Assistant to join our in-house design team. As a Design Assistant, you will be part of a small team of designers and will contribute to the design work at Jollyroom. We believe you have a broad range of design skills and techniques. We are confident that you have a strong eye for design.

Responsibilities

  • Production of visual materials
  • Development and production of our newsletters - planning and selection of content based on campaign plans, analytics, feedback from purchasing, and keywords
  • Active work on our brand websites and selecting content to feature based on season, analytics, purchasing department feedback, etc.
  • Coordinating translations of text
  • Independently receiving smaller orders from other departments
  • Assisting other departments with prioritized projects

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Adobe CC package
  • Excellent sense of design, color, and form
  • Knowledge of working with CMS tools and web publishing
  • Skilled at creating content
  • Interest in digital marketing, motion graphics, and copywriting
  • Have another primary occupation
  • Meritorious if you have knowledge of HTML, CSS, and the Emarsys tool
