Job Overview

Nuclear transformation is a new team within the nuclear fleet function. We drive business development within the nuclear portfolio and serve as the center for best practices and cooperation within the Nuclear function and with the Uniper group. As the Strategic Performance Leader, you will influence performance processes and culture within the Nuclear fleet, operating units, and decommissioning sites.

The work involves cross-functional collaboration, where you will closely work with the executive nuclear management team as well as the nuclear fleet function. Driving change and setting excellence standards will be on your agenda. You will act as a gatekeeper, improving our standards and continuously reevaluating steering KPIs. Developing processes and ensuring output value for the nuclear portfolio and executive team is crucial. A significant part of your role is acting as a facilitator, coordinating information, and people together.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Annual performance KPI process optimization
  2. Tactical process (6-12 months horizon) and performance culture development
  3. Maintaining core communication with various stakeholders
  4. Driving change initiatives
  5. Identifying and following up on deviations from targets
  6. Driving cultural change
  7. Developing KPIs
  8. Driving digitalization of processes

Please note that the role does not include personnel responsibility. Your job may require occasional travel within the Nuclear group and to headquarters in Dusseldorf. The team consists of seven persons with different responsibilities, supporting each other while striving to drive the business forward. Your primary collaboration partners are the executive management team and the Nuclear Strategy team along with business representatives. You will report to the Head of Nuclear Transformation.

As part of Sweden's critical infrastructure, our operations are governed by rules related to protective security, export control, and nuclear non-proliferation. We conduct security clearance for all positions and register control for security-classified positions according to the Protection Security Act. This position may be subject to wartime placement. Health and drug tests are performed if applicable.

Required Skills:

  1. Academic university degree in business administration, engineering, economy, or relevant fields.
  2. Experience in operational excellence and driving improvement projects.
  3. Experience in developing decision material and management presentations.
  4. Strong skills in Excel, Word, PPT.
  5. Excellent language skills in Swedish and English.

Desired Skills:

  1. Previous experience from the energy sector and/or management consulting.
  2. Project management/coordination experience.
  3. Certification in Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.
  4. Knowledge in governance models.
