About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Officer to join our team as an Information Security Leadership Role. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Klarna security strategy and providing inputs into policies, procedures, and standards across Klarna. Additionally, you will promote security awareness and training programs to foster a security-conscious culture within Klarna.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years of experience working in security, a solid understanding of risk management frameworks, and knowledge of governance standards such as ISO, ITIL, or ISAE. You should also have strong communication skills, a solid engineering background, and working proficiency in English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Klarna security strategy
  • Provide inputs into policies, procedures, and standards across Klarna
  • Promote security awareness and training programs
  • Guide and be supported by Security Champions coming from Klarna Security Academy
  • Review incidents and support in retrospectives and root cause analyses
  • Provide support for 3rd party vendor or outsourcing management
  • Coordinate with control functions and auditors and oversee completion of mitigations
  • Establish local security routines and drive improvement programs within the business area
  • Manage engineering metrics follow-up and improvement work
  • Help with classifications and identifying/gathering security requirements
  • Lead and perform risk identification and risk assessments for NPA's, major changes, and yearly risk assessments
