Wireless RF Test Engineer Position

Job SummaryThis Mid-Senior level position as a RF Test Engineer at Maven involves collaborating closely with the hardware team to design and develop automated test stations for our wireless coverage products. Responsibilities include programming in Python to automate test systems as well as testing and repairing products.
The role also involves supporting production sites, ensuring test stations operate efficiently, and verifying product performance in our RF lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering and hands-on experience designing test jigs for electronic devices, conducting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and documenting test results.
The following qualifications are required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in Python programming.
- 3-5 years of experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and automated control of test systems for low and high frequencies.
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, Switch boxes, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and Power Supplies for testing and calibration.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Residency in Sweden (Preferably Stockholm).
Additional expertise includes:
- Electronic components and devices for DC and mid-to-high frequencies.
- Reading and interpreting electronic schematics.
- Fiber optic technologies and optoelectronic devices.
- Soldering and repairing electronic circuits.
Apart from technical skills, knowledge of radio systems like GSM, LTE, WCDMA, TETRA, UHF, and VHF, Linux, Windows, Microsoft Office, Git for version control, troubleshooting, and debugging electronic and RF systems is valuable.
