POSITION SUMMARY

As a RF Test Engineer at Maven, you will collaborate closely with the hardware team to design and develop automated test stations for our wireless coverage products. Your responsibilities will include programming in Python to automate test systems as well as testing and repairing the products. The role also involves supporting production sites, ensuring test stations operate efficiently, and verifying product performance in our RF lab in Kista.

QUALIFICATIONS & BACKGROUND

We are looking for an experienced RF Test Engineer with a strong background in electronics engineering. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and has hands-on experience designing test jigs for various electronic devices, conducting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of complete radio systems, and documenting test results in detailed reports.

The following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in Python programming.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and automated control of test systems for low and high frequencies.
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, Switch boxes, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and Power Supplies for testing and calibration.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Residency in Sweden (Preferably Stockholm).

SKILLS

In addition to your qualifications, you should have expertise in:

  • Electronic components and devices for DC and mid-to-high frequencies.
  • Reading and interpreting electronic schematics.
  • Fiber optic technologies and optoelectronic devices.
  • Soldering and repairing electronic circuits.

As well as knowledge of:

  • Radio systems such as GSM, LTE, WCDMA, TETRA, UHF, and VHF.
  • Linux, Windows, and Microsoft Office.
  • Git for version control.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging electronic and RF systems.
