About the Position:
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our medical department, where you will be responsible for performing safety testing on active medical devices such as ventilators, medical robots, X-ray equipment, etc. As a senior engineer, you will have the opportunity to review different aspects of medical products, including function, construction, and documentation.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Perform safety testing according to applicable standards such as IEC or IEC
- Compile test results, analyze and transfer data into test reports
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and customers
- Validate the project scope and sample applicability
- Train and mentor junior engineers
- Review test reports and provide feedback
- Assist with scope expansion and project planning
About You:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering required; BSEE or Bio-Medical Engineering preferred
- 4+ years directly related experience within Medical Standards IEC Suit(s)
- Advanced experience in X-ray or gas related equipment
- Demonstrated experience with U.S., Canadian, and other international product safety standards, i.e., ANSI, CSA, UL, EN, IEC
- Ability to train entry-level engineers within medical standards
- Excellent communication, in both verbal and written formats
- Excellent organization and time management skills
