EHS Advisor

We are seeking an EHS Advisor to join our team at Suir Engineering Ltd. The successful candidate will be based on a Data Center project in Sweden and will play a key role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees and stakeholders.

• Assist the Group EHS Manager in achieving Suir's Critical Success Factor 1: 'To ensure we are fully compliant in all Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation'
• Become familiar with the site induction process and delivery of same
• Shadow the Senior EHS Advisor until trained and competent to take on EHS responsibilities
• Become familiar with the Flex system and how to apply the various functions effectively to your project
• Assist the Senior EHS Advisor with the SOR process and ensure it is effective on site
• Train as a Working at Height Instructor and assist with the inspections of ladders, harnesses, lanyards etc.
• Become familiar with Suir's Integrated Management System and how to effectively implement the IMS on sites
• Assist the Senior EHS Advisor with incident investigation and management
• Assist the Senior EHS Advisor with the coordination and administration of all EHS process and procedures
• This role will be on a 3/1 rotation
• Conduct a weekly EHS Audit of the site under the guidance of the Senior EHS Advisor

• Relevant Health and Safety Diploma/Degree and Minimum of 2 years' experience in Environmental Health and Safety role
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize workload according to deadlines together with a high attention to detail
• Ability to influence colleagues at all levels
