EHS Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EHS Advisor to join our team at Suir Engineering. As an EHS Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

• Assist the Group EHS Manager in achieving Suir's Critical Success Factor 1: 'To ensure we are fully compliant in all Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation.'
• Become familiar with the site induction process and delivery of same.
• Shadow the Senior EHS Advisor until trained and competent to take on EHS responsibilities.
• Assist the Senior EHS Advisor with the SOR process and ensure it is effective on site.
• Train as a Working at Height Instructor and assist with the inspections of ladders, harnesses, lanyards etc.
• Assist the Senior EHS Advisor with incident investigation and management.
• Assist the Senior EHS Advisor with the coordination and administration of all EHS process and procedures.

• Relevant Health and Safety Diploma/Degree and Minimum of 2 years' experience in Environmental Health and Safety role.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload according to deadlines together with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
