Job Title: Database Consultant

Orange Business is seeking a skilled Database Consultant to join the Linux Team in our Database department. The Database department oversees database operations across a wide range of technologies, including MySQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, and more. The role we're looking for will primarily focus on MongoDB, but also includes MySQL and MariaDB.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Provide expert database support to internal and external customers, ensuring activities align with relevant service level agreements.
  • Contribute to tasks such as installation and configuration, backup and recovery, lifecycle management, and automation.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and internal technical teams to ensure seamless database operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience from a relevant position within the IT industry.
  • Good knowledge and interest in working with database technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux environments.
  • Experience working with security management and compliance.
  • Knowledge of document and/or relational databases is a strong advantage.
