About the RoleAs a Senior System Engineer at Qvantum, you will play a crucial role in the continuous development of their advanced heat pump systems. Your primary focus will be on the heat pump system and the implementation aspects of the product, ensuring seamless integration with various applications. You will lead and oversee different stages of product development, maintaining a balance between all requirements while adhering to legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the technical development of heat pump systems, focusing on implementation and application aspects.
- Dimensioning components, conducting lab tests, and developing verification plans to rapidly verify ideas.
- Analyzing test results to ensure optimal system performance.
- Ensuring that the systems meet customers' needs and standards.
- Providing technical support and guidance to the internal team.
- Collaborating closely with external component suppliers.
- Staying updated with industry standards as well as EU legislation and exploring functional opportunities.
We are seeking a seasoned system engineering professional with a comprehensive understanding of heating and cooling systems, control mechanisms, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in system engineering, preferably in the implementation of heat pump technology within various applications.
- Deep expertise in refrigeration, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer, preferably as applied to refrigeration circuits and systems.
- Knowledge in specification, calculation, design, and testing of products and components in a mass-production setting.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Personal competencies include being driven and proactive, having strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an appreciation for a dynamic organizational scale-up phase. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team is essential.
