To enhance our renowned image quality, we are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden, focusing on image quality and processing. This role involves engaging with cutting-edge technology and contributing to the development of our next-generation cameras, ensuring the highest standards of image quality. We are looking for an individual with a keen interest in algorithms and software development related to image processing and photography. A strong analytical mindset and a commitment to quality are essential. You will collaborate closely with our R&D team and interact with various departments across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assessing new sensor technologies
- Developing calibration processes for sensors
- Creating image processing algorithms
- Conducting final evaluations of image quality
- Providing support for existing cameras regarding image quality issues
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Understanding the impact of sensor characteristics on image quality
- Experience in sensor calibration techniques
- Familiarity with color theory principles
- Basic knowledge of image sensor physics (CMOS)
- Proficiency in Linux and version control systems
- Programming experience in C/C++/Python
- Interest in algorithms within embedded systems
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken
- A personal passion for photography
