Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cost Manager to support High-Tech and Manufacturing projects in the Nordics. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to provide cost management consulting and drive delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain cost management processes, templates, and tools to ensure accurate and timely cost reporting.
  • Monitor and control costs, incorporating the impacts of risk, opportunities, and change in a controlled manner.
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients, providing formal and ad-hoc reports on time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Lead the evaluation of project time, cost, and quality targets, applying governance controls as necessary.
  • Coordinate and lead planning sessions and workshops with clients and vendors to compile the master project/programme schedule.
  • Guide and influence the general contractor to ensure they are progressing in line with the schedule and within agreed cash flow parameters.
  • Understand procurement principles, collate lead times from vendors and clients, and communicate prioritization of ordering materials and equipment.
  • Work closely with the project team to stay informed on project changes and incorporate these into the change management process.
Requirements
  • Experience in the construction of Hi-Tech, Manufacturing, Industrial, Data Centers, and Pharmaceutical projects.
  • Proven experience in cost management in all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Strong measurement and cost planning expertise.
  • Strong experience with spreadsheets and databases.
  • Collaborative approach, able to develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Good organization skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated strong listening and communication skills.
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.
