About the Position

We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team at TN Sweden, specializing in HVAC development.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing climate systems, including air conditioning, heating, and air quality control.

You will lead the development of climate units and related components within vehicle platforms, ensuring they meet system and vehicle requirements while optimizing for efficiency, quality, cost, weight, manufacturability, and serviceability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing complex components that meet system and vehicle requirements
  • Designing and implementing verification plans and test methods to ensure reliability and performance
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Taking ownership of assigned areas and driving collaboration across teams
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise
    • In-depth knowledge of climate systems, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and refrigeration principles
    • Experience with mechanical and electrical system development, including components like actuators and sensors
    • Strong understanding of development and verification processes and methods
    • Software knowledge is considered a merit
    • CAD skills are a plus
  • Educational Background
    • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a similar technical field, or equivalent work experience
  • Industry Experience
    • Previous experience in the automotive industry, specifically in climate or thermal systems development
  • Personal Attributes
