Sulzer Ltd is a renowned engineering company that has been at the forefront of innovation for decades. With a strong presence in the industry, we are now looking for a skilled Finance Manager to lead our finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide leadership to guide and support a finance team through periods of change, ensuring effective business and project controlling.
  2. Oversee local accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with Sulzer accounting manuals and tax regulations.
  3. Manage the statutory accounting process and ensure accuracy in financial statements, income statements, and profitability forecasting.
  4. Work closely with the local management team and act as a business partner in driving financial performance, cost management, and internal controls.
  5. Maintain and improve business and financial controls while ensuring a smooth transition to new processes and structures.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to guide a team through change and ensure efficient processes are in place.
  2. Proven experience in managing business control and accounting functions in a complex environment.
  3. Ability to work effectively in a chaotic, evolving environment and bring structure and order to the processes.
  4. Stress-resilience and the ability to handle challenges and ensure the team delivers results.
  5. Broad financial expertise with a focus on statutory accounting, tax, and business partnering.
  6. In-depth knowledge of financial operations, including managing CAPEX, OPEX, and EBITDA, with a strong focus on budget ownership and accountability.
