About the Role

As a Technical Leader at Essity, you will play a key role in defining Reference Architectures and driving harmonization, simplification, and adaptation to best practices to achieve fully integrated solutions in a heterogeneous IT landscape.

This role involves working with business partners, information architects, enterprise architects, business analysts, and external service providers to ensure new capabilities comply with the overall architecture across multiple domains.

You will be responsible for communicating with developers or tech leads to provide direction and business stakeholders on why technical decisions are made, as well as building business cases to ensure accurate, optimal, and valuable architecture recommendations.

You will feel ownership and be responsible for the solutions you drive, balancing speed and quality in delivery.

You will work with internal and external partners and suppliers from multiple countries and cultures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take a leading role in projects or other initiatives to ensure all requirements are covered
  • Ensure that architecture requirements for development, execution, and operations are implemented as designed
  • Cooperate with other architects to ensure solutions and components work together to meet objectives
  • Lead IT Architecture analysis, design, and implementation, ensuring policies and standards are followed
  • Validate requirements and obtain stakeholder buy-in for architecture designs
  • Create business cases, narratives, and assess architecture impacts for new or changed solutions
  • Identify and communicate cross-area or cross-release issues affecting other project areas
  • Support development of architecture reference architecture, including standards and management of exemptions
  • Actively seek out new technologies and trends, advocating for change within Essity

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, management information systems, or related discipline
  • More than five years of experience in IT development and business analysis in digital market-facing applications
  • Knowledge in user experience modeling, information design, and concept generation
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral
  • Knowledge of the SDL Tridion platform beneficial
  • Ability to travel
