IT Solutions Architect

As a Solution Architect at Essity, you will play a key role in shaping our IT landscape. You will be responsible for defining reference architectures, driving harmonization, simplification, and adherence to best practices to ensure fully integrated solutions. This involves working closely with business partners, information architects, enterprise architects, business analysts, and external service providers to ensure new capabilities comply with our overall architecture across multiple domains.
Key Responsibilities- Take a leading role in projects or other initiatives to ensure all requirements, including functional, integration, security, performance, quality, and operations are covered
- Responsible to ensure that the architecture requirements for the development, execution, and operations are implemented as designed
- Cooperate with other architects to ensure that the solutions and components work together to meet the objectives and work jointly to ensure collaboration between initiatives
- Lead the IT Architecture analysis, design, and implementation, and ensure that policies and standards are followed in respective area
- Validate requirements and obtain stakeholder buy-in for architecture designs
- Create business cases, narratives and assess architecture impacts for new / changed solutions and present to a broad stake holder group from Business and IT
- Identify and communicate any cross-area or cross-release issues that affect other project areas
- Support development of architecture reference architecture, including standards and in management of exemptions
- Actively seek out new technologies and trends and advocate for change within Essity
- University degree in computer science, management information systems, or related discipline
- More than five years of experience in IT development and business analysis in digital market facing applications like eCommerce, content management, brand site development, loyalty and mobile app business
- Knowledge in user experience modeling, information design, and concept generation
- Fluent in English, both written and oral
- Knowledge of the SDL Tridion platform beneficial
- Ability to travel
