Job Overview

We are seeking a talented individual to lead our PC community strategy at Ubisoft Entertainment. This role will strengthen the connection between our PC gaming community and internal stakeholders, facilitating communication and improving the overall PC player experience.

The successful candidate will have a passion for PC gaming and expertise in hardware and software, as well as excellent communication skills in English and comfort presenting ideas.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Community Strategies: Collaborate with various brand, development, transversal, and community teams to grow PC communities around our titles and services.
  2. Represent Player Voice: Identify opportunities to improve the player experience during development processes.
  3. Establish Processes: Relay community needs and opinions, working with data teams and user research experts.
  4. Collaborate with Production and Marketing Teams: Create informed decisions based on community feedback.
  5. Support Community Events: Work with community leaders to develop dedicated community online and studio events, such as workshops and early play sessions.
  6. Empower Early Testing: Support the creation of a PC player pool initiative to empower early testing for projects.
  7. Provide Sentiment Reports: Regularly report on the Ubisoft PC audience and community sentiment.
Qualifications
  • Passionate About PC Gaming: Expertise in hardware and software.
  • Expertise in PC Gaming Communities: Knowledge of PC distribution and social platforms, particularly Steam.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Comfort presenting ideas in English.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Experience Handling Online Communities: Developing strategic plans in the video game or PC hardware industries.
  • User-Generated Content Experience: Modding platforms and communities.
