Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Director to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver Safe and High-Quality Services: Lead the delivery of safe, high-quality services with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  2. Financial Performance: Deliver financial targets set for the customer and build valuable customer relationships through a solid understanding of site-specific needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Implement Business Ethics: Implement Westinghouse 'Codes of Business Ethics & Conduct' and ensure all employees are informed about the standards and related policies.
  2. Customer Support: Serve as Westinghouse presence at customer site, representing ability to respond to planned and emergent customer needs.
  3. Safety Champion: Serves as champion for human performance (HuP) and safety.
Identify Customer Needs:
  1. Plant Status Reports: Issues regular plant status reports and identifies unmet customer needs.
  2. Marketplace Data Collection: Collects marketplace data including customer long-term O&M and capital plans.
  3. Pipeline Growth: Grows the pipeline by identifying and evaluating customer needs.
  4. Business Opportunities: Pursues business opportunities in customer organization.
Execution Oversight:
  1. Project Guidance: Provides guidance, coaching, and oversight to field project managers in execution of projects.
  2. Team Supervision: Supervises Westinghouse personnel on site and provides feedback on individual and team performance.
  3. Barrier Removal: Works with Customer to remove barriers to successful completion of projects.
Customer Relationships:
  1. Consultative Relationships: Builds consultative relationships at all levels within site organization.
  2. Customer Intelligence: Uses customer relations management tool to capture customer intelligence.
  3. Trusted Advisor: Develops trusted advisor role with customer.
Education and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
  2. 10 Years of Experience: 10 years of engineering or field experience with significant customer facing experience.
