Logistics and Packaging Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics and Packaging Expert to join our team in Västerås, Sweden. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials within our supply chain.

Responsibilities- Implement and manage standard packaging solutions, including purchase, design, prototype, validation, and budget follow-up.
- Develop and apply solutions to protect parts during all logistic operations, including transport, unloading, storage, line feeding, and other processes.
- Safeguard costs and improve cash flow by calculating Return On Investment (ROI), designing standard packaging, reducing transport costs, and justifying investments in returnable packaging.
- Collaborate with Regional Logistic Engineering to identify potential improvements in the whole value chain and capture added value.
- Reduce work labor time in the warehouse (picking, kitting hours, ...) and in production.
- Work closely with technical services to improve ergonomics at workstations and reduce waste packaging (zero unpacking).
- Manage Project Supply Chain specifications and negotiate with suppliers at site and project levels.
- Design internal logistic processes and ensure that parameters in the Enterprise Resource Planning are correct (stock strategy, activity-based costing (ABC) classification, ...).
- Align physical and system flows and improve stock accuracy in compliance with standard processes.
- Design packaging solutions.
