About IES Årsta
">IES Årsta is a school for grades 4-9 located close to Stockholm city center. The school has around 650 students and 70 staff members. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment for all our students.
">We are looking for a qualified English teacher to join our team at IES Årsta. As an English teacher at IES, you will be responsible for teaching English to students in Years 7-9, as well as mentoring a group of students in one of the year levels. You will also be required to participate in meetings with parents, students, and colleagues, and contribute to maintaining the school's high standards.

Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience teaching the IGCSE program for English, as well as experience working with students with low attainment in reading. You should also be comfortable teaching in an international work environment and have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
">We are looking for someone who is flexible, a dedicated team player, and has a positive approach to teaching. You should be able to create a good learning environment in the classroom and have clear leadership and teaching skills. Experience as a middle manager within Student Care, such as Head of Year, is also an asset.
">The ideal candidate will be able to differentiate their teaching to reach different students and work inclusively with students with special needs. They should also be able to provide continuous feedback to students and parents, focusing on progress and growth.
