About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commodity Leader to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the procurement strategy for consulting services, ensuring compliance with company processes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for consulting services, ensuring cost savings and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage global panel providers, including business reviews and framework agreements.
  • Lead supplier performance management, including quarterly reviews and contract mapping.
  • Provide regular reporting on supplier performance and process compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth procurement processes.

Requirements

  • Business School or University Master's degree with specialization in Purchasing.
  • Minimum of three years of significant experience in purchasing, ideally in indirect procurement.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to understand legal clauses.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including leadership and communication.
  • Indirect procurement mindset and team spirit in a multicultural environment.
