Strategic Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls Systems & Service. As a key member of our Global Marine & Navy organization, you will be responsible for driving strategic procurement initiatives and ensuring the successful execution of procurement activities.

• Procurement Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effective solutions.
• Category Management: Analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to optimize category performance.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Financial Management: Manage procurement budgets, track expenses, and provide financial reports to stakeholders.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to company policies, laws, and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks.

• Education: Master's degree in Business, Procurement, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: At least three years of experience in a professional purchasing position, with a strong background in mechanical and automation equipment categories.
• Skills: Excellent knowledge of purchasing practices, analytical and problem-solving skills, strong influencing and negotiation skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Language: Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
