**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Expert to join our team in Västerås. As a key member of our Power Quality Global Center of Competence, you will be responsible for ensuring the dynamic performance of our control solutions based on customer grid code requirements.
- Develop base solutions of existing control systems for various FACTS converters and new project-specific functionalities for control system dynamic performance of FACTS applications.
- Oversee control system performance throughout project execution from start to commissioning.
- Conduct PSCAD and RTDS simulation studies individually or as part of a team to verify control dynamic performance of our FACTS solution.
- Participate in verification tests of the control dynamic system performance in Factory Acceptance and Commissioning Tests.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Expertise in power systems and control system analysis with at least twenty years of job experience in this field.
- Strong knowledge and background in control theories of high-power electronic converters.
- Solid knowledge in PSCAD, RTDS, and Hidraw or any equivalent tool to develop control systems that run in real systems installed in the field.
- Hands-on experience in developing complex control functions in Hitachi Energy's MACH control systems using Hidraw or in an equivalent C/C++ platform.
