Head of Communication and Business Development

Vattenfall GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Communications Professional to join its Business Area Generation as Head of Communications. In this role, you will develop and execute a communication plan to support BA Generation's business objectives and drive strategic communication in the energy sector.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both internal and external communication, including experience in a managerial position. They should also have a solid understanding of the business and industry dynamics, as well as excellent language skills in English (written and verbal). Additionally, they must be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Main Responsibilities:Develop and execute a communication plan for BA Generation in collaboration with the Business Area and communication experts from Media Relations, Brand, Public & Regulatory Affairs, and Project Management teams.
Act as a strategic advisor to the Senior Vice President and the BA Generation management team, providing high-level counsel and hands-on support on all internal and external communication matters.
Plan and execute communication projects and activities to support BA Generation's business objectives, enhancing employee engagement and understanding of the business strategy and supporting transformation of BA Generation.
University degree in Communications, Political Science, Business, or another relevant topic.
At least 7 years of experience in internal and external communication, preferably in a senior management position.
Excellent language skills in English and Swedish (written and verbal).
