Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

Education

  • Degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering or similar relevant field.

Skills and Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and supplier networks in casting, machining, forging, welding, and surface treatment.
  • Experience in the switchgear/electrical transmission industry or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP and other ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of processes like Lean Six Sigma and PPAP.

Personal Qualities

  • Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to foster positive relationships with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English is required.

Travel and Work Environment

  • Willingness to travel as required to visit suppliers, oversee prototype inspections, support assembly activities, and other business-related meetings.
