About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Plant Direct & Indirect Buyer to join our team. As a key player in shaping our procurement strategies, you will drive operational excellence and cost efficiencies through strategic sourcing initiatives.
You will lead supplier negotiations, analyze market trends, and maintain spend tracking to secure optimal pricing and quality. Your expertise will directly support our financial objectives and operational growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with Galderma's financial goals.
- Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Analyze market trends and feedstock dynamics to anticipate changes and drive value.
- Maintain accurate spend tracking, propose budgets, and provide clear forecasts and price variance analyses.
- Implement multi-sourcing approaches, conduct regular tenders, and perform cost breakdown analyses to enhance supplier competition and mitigate risks.
- Manage supplier performance through structured business reviews and maintain updated risk assessments with contingency plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's in Purchasing is highly desirable.
- Several years of purchasing experience in an industrial or FMCG environment, with a strategic and mature approach to procurement.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of technical, financial, and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with experience in M3 being an advantage.
- Demonstrated knowledge of risk management, legal compliance, and responsible sourcing practices.
