About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Hitachi Energy as a Project Interface Manager, where you will play a critical role in identifying, managing, and controlling interfaces in complex projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a transparent picture of project status and providing recommendations for optimal progress.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify and manage interfaces in complex projects, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with project teams to anticipate, understand, and influence interfaces, driving positive impact on project deliveries.
- Ensure effective information flow and communication across project interfaces, both internal and external.
- Work closely with Engineering teams to manage interfaces in EPC projects.
- Report to a Project Engineering Manager, while also contributing to a department with multiple Project Engineering Managers and Project Interface Managers.
Your Background
- You have a strong background in project management, preferably in large complex projects, with a focus on civil engineering.
- You possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to create long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- You have a relevant university degree and at least 5 years of experience in project management or a related field.
- Experience with HVDC and/or PMI/PMP certifications is advantageous.
- You have good knowledge of English, with other languages being a plus.
