Job Description

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge robotics research and development.

You will be part of a dynamic team that works closely with other research centers, universities, and ABB's business areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining and further developing research infrastructures.
  2. Actively seeking collaborations with academic and industrial research partners.
  3. Working with ABB robots and mechatronic devices.
  4. Supporting researchers and engaging in various robotics research topics and projects.
Requirements for Success
  • A Master's or PhD degree in robotics, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid theoretical knowledge and practical experience in robotics fields.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python, along with software engineering practices.
  • Familiarity with ABB RAPID and RobotStudio is advantageous.
  • Experience working with Linux, software version control systems, and ROS 2 is beneficial.
  • Fluency in English is required.
