Job Description

As a key member of our team at Collen Aktiebolag, the Campus Commercial Lead will play a crucial role in overseeing the commercial aspects of our Data Centre campus projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Commercial Management: Oversee the day-to-day commercial activities on the relevant Data Centre campus(es), including the management of junior colleagues on the project.
  2. Administration and Change Order Process: Oversee the administration and change order process associated with project packages, ensuring all changes are captured and costings are appropriately assessed and validated prior to issuing to the Design Team and Client.
  3. Commercial Document Preparation: Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, with the project team and/or the client.
  4. Pre-Construction Activities: Undertake Pre-Construction activities as required for the tendering, negotiation, and agreement of potential projects.
  5. Monthly CVR Management: Produce and manage monthly CVRs for review by the European Commercial Lead & European Commercial Director.
  6. Commercial Record Management: Ensure correct storage of all commercial records as required on the project.
  7. Cost Analysis: Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
  8. Client Requirements and Feasibility Studies: Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
  9. Risk, Value Management, and Cost Control: Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
  10. Procurement Strategy: Advise on procurement strategy.
  11. Commercial Risk Management: Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.
  12. Tender Costings: Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
  13. Subcontractor Allocation: Allocate work to subcontractors.
  14. Contractual Claims: Provide advice on contractual claims.
  15. Progress Reporting: Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
  16. Payment Arrangements: Value completed work and arrange payments.
  17. Building Contracts and Health and Safety: Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use and understand the implications of health and safety regulations.

Strong time management and communication skills are essential to this role, as well as computer literacy and the ability to prepare reports and administer the necessary paperwork.
